Presidents of the Barcroft School and Civic League

The Barcroft School and Civic League was formed in 1908 as the Barcroft Citizens Association. It changed its name in that same year to the Barcroft School and Civic League to emphasize the community's determination to have its own elementary school.

The BSCL can confirm these names. The early names came from an unpublished list of Mildred Handy Ritchie, who noted that they were not necessarily accurate for the years 1908 to 1920 and 1923 to 1929. Her "possibly" names are followed with a question mark. 

Presidents serve a single-year term, but frequently serve two terms consecutively.
